Úna Ní Fhlatharta
Úna Ní Fhlatharta is a sean-nós dancer from Maynooth in Co Kildare. She took up Irish dancing at 5 years of age with CCÉ Léim an Bhradáin, Co Kildare, progressing quickly to step dancing and set dancing. She won the All-Ireland Senior Sean-Nós Dancing competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in 2011 and took 2nd place at the Senior Sean-nós dancing competition at Oireachtas na Samhna 2012. From a musical family, Úna has been immersed in traditional Irish music and culture. A native Irish speaker, Úna also plays the uilleann pipes, the tin whistle and bodhrán. She is a member of the Beartla O Flatharta Céili Band.
Dara O’Coisdealbha hails from Roscrea Co. Tipperary. He started playing the accordion at a young age. His style is heavily influenced by the playing of accordion maestro Paddy O’Brien from Newtown Bridge in Tipperary. Dara has competed at Fleahanna since he was 9 years old in various competitions from solo to ceili bands. Currently living in Maynooth, he started teaching in the branch last year.
Gearóid Keane was born in Celbridge, Co. Kildare and is both a musician and a dancer. He has won numerous All Ireland titles and is also World Champion Irish Dancer. Gearóid has performed extensively around the world as part of Brú Ború, the Riverdance Flying Squad and several other Comhaltas Groups, most notably he has performed in Russia, China, USA, and Canada. He remains a very commited member of his local Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Éireann and has progressed from student to teacher and even to Chairperson over the years. He continues to teach Concertina to both young people and adults alike within CCÉ Leixip and at Summer Schools around the country. Sean comes from Celbridge, Co. Kildare and is a devoted member of Craobh Bheartla Ui Fhlatharta, learning his music there and now teaching. His music is rooted in Clare traditions, passed down through his mother from Lisseycassey and has also been influenced by the music playing of his teachers Terry Crehan and Fergal O'Neill. He has travelled with numerous Comhaltas groups both as an Irish dancer and musician and more recently has returned from Wales, where he lived and taught music for 6 years. While in Wales, he taught music with Amairgin the Gael branch of Comhaltas and was also recognised by CCÉ with a Gradam an Chomhaltais Award for his dedication and work in promoting Irish culture in Wales. Sean works as a primary school teacher and lives and works in Kildare.

Daithí O Cearúill
Daithí O Cearúill from Tallaght, Dublin started at a young age to learn traditional Irish music in CCE Craobh Naithi, where he progressed to become one of their tin whistle and flute tutors. Daithi has worked full time as a musician in Trad/Rock band Mutefish where he was lead musician for 5 years and has performed thousands of concerts around the world. Daithi has over ten years experience teaching Irish music in several branches and has been with the Leixlip branch for half of that time. You may have seem him busking on Grafton Street from time to time!!
Grúpaí agus Bannaí
From Lucan, Co. Dublin, Finóla Lawlor began playing traditional Irish music at the age of six, getting a taste for it at Scoil Acla, a summer school on Achill Island. She began weekly lessons in Dublin, while also taking part in the grúpa cheoil and ceilí band in the Leixlip Comhaltas. Finóla has completed all eight grades in classical violin with The Associated Board, has a Bachelor of Music from UCD and a Masters in Traditional Irish Music Performance from the University of Limerick. She works within the digital technology sector in Dublin and is a member of the Beartla O’Flatharta Ceilí Band
Carla is from Leixlip, Co.Kildare, she started playing music at an early age. She attended classes at CCE Leixlip under the tuition of Nuala Keane. She later attended classes with Noel Hill in the Pipers Club on Henrietta street. Carla enjoys attending Fleadhanna and other music festivals, The Joe Mooney summer school in particular, which she has attended almost every year for the past 18 years . Carla’s music has seen her perform as part of many different groups and taken her on many trips away, most recently to Hawaii.
